Sponsored Tweets!

Posted by Seeker on Nov 18 2009 | All Inclusive

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Sponsored Tweets. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ready to hear about something new and cool? It’s called “SponsoredTweets” and it is an internet marketplace that allows you to connect directly with advertisers through Twitter. In return, advertisers compensate you with cash when you give them a sponsored tweet. Remind you at all of eBay?

Here’s how it works. Set your price…choose a category and some keywords…and wait for those offers! When you get offers, review them and either accept them or reject them based on how attractive they are to you. If you accept the offer, you will be credited within 24 hours. Not bad, eh? So far, Tweeters seem to think this is pretty hot. There are even celebrities involved, like Leann Rimes and Bob Vila!

Everything about this is designed to be ethical and safe. You are in complete control of your account at all times. That translates into complete safety and trust. IZEA never collects your Twitter password in this process and IZEA has successfully completed Twitter’s API approval process.

So…are you ready to sign up for sponsored tweets? Follow me over there!

Shopping for a Web Host

Posted by Seeker on Aug 18 2009 | All Inclusive

Have you shopped for website hosting lately? I am just gearing up to begin this process in the next month or two because my current web hosting package will be expiring. I have not been all that impressed and satisfied with my current service. I have found the technical support to be lacking. In fact, there have been several times that instead of having the technical support people try to figure out a problem, I have just gone to my own “technical support” friends and received help from them instead.

If you’re a person who likes to read read reviews before you purchase, then check this site out because there are many good ones. After reading these reviews, you should be well-informed to make a decision about a suitable web host for your internet website needs.

If you’ve got a message to share, you need to get your website up and running and the only way to do that is with a web host. Get the best web hosting service for your needs by shopping carefully and making an informed decision. The folks at webhostinggeeks have put together a great service for helping people find the best web host for their individual needs.

Kmart Bluelight Specials

Posted by Seeker on Aug 12 2009 | All Inclusive

This post was sponsored by Kmart. All the opinions are mine.

Did you shop at Kmart this past weekend? I sure hope you didn’t miss the special shopping day on Saturday. I know…unfortunately 8/8 has past and I don’t want to rub it in too much…But right now I will just tell you some of the amazing Kmart Bluelight specials you missed. There are sure to be more, so don’t despair. Kmart always has more Bluelight specials!

Stay informed by following Kmart on Twitter and that way you won’t miss the next one!

Anyway…here are some amazing things that might be had (there were over 40 specials throughout that day). Unbelievable…right?

All patio furniture was 70% off the regular prices. Their regular prices are already great, so this was pretty awesome, in my opinion.

An extra 10% off diamonds that were already 70% marked down. Again, pretty awesome. I’m always in the market for new diamonds…my hubby will tell you that.

If I were you, I would just make it a habit to shop at Kmart every week so you won’t miss out on anything like this again!

Cashectomy for College

Posted by Seeker on Aug 12 2009 | All Inclusive

This cashectomy has been one of the most painful procedures I’ve undergone recently. My oldest son is college bound in less than one month…and I am tired of spending money! I can’t believe that I…the consumate shopper…am actually saying that. But it’s true and I am!

Add to the money woes is the anxiety over what we may be forgetting to buy and I am a total wreck!

One thing that has been an unbelievable lifesaver for us is a new service Sears is offering called “Web2Store” where you can shop online and have everything shipped to whatever Sears store you desire. No hauling and no unpacking for us! This rocks!

This is great for those bulky items that college kids think they need like butterfly chairs, microwave ovens, bedding…you name it!

College tuitions are rising every year. How about some help? Enter to win money toward college tuition from Sears and Upromise. $25,000 will be awarded. Every time you make a purchase at sears.com through Upromise.com you are entered to win. Or, instead enter free by checking out CampusReady. All the details are there for the taking.

Be sure to check out the

CampusReady app on Facebook, too. Very cool.

Armani Denim For Back to School

Posted by Seeker on Jul 15 2009 | All Inclusive

Do you live in denim? I find with my casual lifestyle of a stay at home mom, denim comprises a high percentage of my wardrobe. Of course, I could never stand to be bored, so I vary my denim with lots of different styles and colors.

I was just browsing for new denim jeans at Armani Jeans and found some great looks and great prices. Look what I found!

Aren’t these cute? I could totally live in those cropped, skinny fit jeans. I love them! Armani Exchange has something called their “New Premium Denim” that start at $98. Totally reasonable!

Armani Exchange is also sponsoring a contest right now called a “text A|X contest.” You might win a pair of denim every day for the moth of July by simply texting the keyword “DENIM2″ to this number: ARMANI (276264).

What’s more, customers who purchase a pair of denim jeans at full price from Armani Exchange either at a store or online between July 7 and July 19 will receive a gift card in the amount of $20 to use for their next purchase of $100 or more. This gift card is valid between July 30, 2009 and August 15, 2009.

I know where the bulk of my back to school shopping online is going to be done! And right now, too!

Final Days to Go Blu!

Posted by Seeker on Jul 10 2009 | All Inclusive

Have you entered the BluFrog contest yet? I already told you about this last week, I believe, but this bears mentioning again. BluFrog is hosting a contest with some amazing grand prizes. Win a trip to Orlando, Aspen, Chicago, or New York…or win an awesome gaming package. Entering is easy so there’s no excuse not to get a chance at some of these prizes.

Have you tried BluFrog energy drinks yet? They are packed with real fruits, healthy ingredients, less sugar, and you won’t be lifted up and crashed to the floor from the sugar crash either. All of these things make it sound pretty good to me. This is a whole new breed of energy drinks for people who have shunned these drinks because they are not a healthy drink option. I fall into this option and am not an energy drink consumer as a rule, but I might make an exception for BluFrog.

Now that I have BluFrog on my mind, it’s going to be very hard to concentrate on anything else, I fear. But I think I might be able to concentrate on choosing which prize I would like to win. Hmmmmmm…I think I’ll go for Orlando. There…that wasn’t hard!

Summer Getaway in Branson

Posted by Seeker on Jun 30 2009 | All Inclusive

PhotobucketSummer is a great time to think about visiting Branson, Missouri. If you haven’t been there, then I would encourage you to consider a family getaway to this exciting area. There is something for everyone here so you really can’t go wrong. You’ve got two great choices in Branson…and they are the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. Either of these hotels would be a treat to stay at.

My hubby would be there for the golf of course…me, I’d be taking in the shops and boutiques. The kids…there’s plenty for them to do and see as well. The theme parks and entertainment options in Branson are limitless! The one time we were there, I recall everyone being very happy with the things we found to see and do. As long as hubby has a golf course and I can find a museum or boutique we’re good!

I was just reading about some awesome packages offered at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. Listen to these! There is a “Golf Package,” a “Third Night on Us Package,” and even a “Romance Package.” Are these enough to entice you?

Let’s see…a good itinerary for us would be:

  • Golf
  • Shop
  • Golf
  • Shop
  • Eat
  • Shop
  • Golf
  • Play
  • Eat

How does that sound?

Tweet To Win a Blu Prize!

Posted by Seeker on Jun 22 2009 | All Inclusive

Like contests? Like winning? Who doesn’t!

Here’s an easy one with some great prizes. Blu World is sponsoring a BluFrog contest with five great grand prizes. See if any of these interest you (I don’t see how they couldn’t…):

1) BlueGamer Ultimate Gaming Package
2) Happy Blu Year New York
3) Blullapalooza Chicago
4) Blu Streak Orlando
5) Extreme Blu Aspen

I am definitely entering with the hope of winning the Happy Blu Year New York package. I would absolutely be thrilled to be the grand prize winner of that trip.

Entering is so easy. There are three ways to enter and each entrant can enter up to three times. Either leave a comment on the Blu Blog or Twitter Tweet an announcement about the contest and which prize you want to win or write a post about the contest on your blog and comment about your blog post. See? I told you it was easy.

The contest is going on from now until July 17…so there is not that much time to get going with your entries. This is one of those things that is just so easy to do that you have to wonder why everyone wouldn’t enter to win one of these great grand prizes.

Shopping for a Webhost

Posted by Seeker on Jun 17 2009 | All Inclusive

Have you looked into webhosting lately? If not, you may want to take a quick peek at some of these links I’m throwing your way. Webhosting has come a long way over the last few years and there have been many technological improvements that customers definitely want to have available for them from their web host. You really should take a look at this site, especially if you are shopping for a new web host.

I was just reading around on the Webhosting Geeks site and found their blog to be interesting and informative. I especially liked their blog because it was full of a lot of useful information. For example…have you considered how Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is connected with your choice of web host? If you think about this, it really is important to consider how your web host will help you optimize your websites for the best SEO possible. I was reading some great SEO tips on their blog.

There are many web hosts available…but you need to make sure that the web host you choose has your best interests in mind. Do your research and be sure you choose the best one for your needs. If you don’t have a reliable web host, your website and your rankings will suffer.

Name the Firefly

Posted by Seeker on Jun 12 2009 | All Inclusive

My kids love fireflies…in fact it isn’t really and truly summer where we live until the fireflies come out at night…and that isn’t until the nights stay consistently in the 60s. This year we are a long way away from this it seems…temperatures have been so chilly!

But anyway…I digress.

I just heard about a contest with a grand prize of a $10,000 scholarship. How to enter? Name a cute little firefly! How fun is that? Kroger food stores are holding this contest. Parents can help Comforts baby formula name its cute little firefly mascot and you have a chance to win a $10,000 college scholarship.

Conforts for Baby formula is fortified with iron and is considered a complete source of protein for the first year. It contains those important lipids necessary for mental and visual development. It also has some of the natural nutrients found in breastmilk. No worries about where it’s made either…right here in the US.

I’m horrible with names…it’s amazing that we settled on names for all of our kids…but this sounds like fun. I would name the firefly “Flit.” Cute? Fitting? I think so. What would you name the firefly? Well…think up a name and go to the site and enter the contest. The winning entry will be announced after September 21, 2009.
